We seek experienced Senior Sales Engineer to assist with the rapid sales growth in the HMA Group businesses in Indonesia and Australia. Someone with the strong interpersonal skill to assist with the rapid sales growth in the Instrumentation business. This role will play a critical part in the Identification and development of new and expanded business opportunities in the region to achieve the sales plan through effective client and team partnerships.
The position will partnering with a colleague in Australia to Communicate with the principal and customers, answer potential customers’ questions and send additional information via email make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on leads identify opportunities for HMA products, follow up project activity, the gathering of new inquiries, sales presentations to key account customers.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and most likely will have an Electronics, Informatics or Electrical engineering degree. This is a position for somebody who desires increased challenge and responsibility, prospects for advancement within the HMA Group are high.
Senior Sales Engineer
(Jakarta Selatan-DKI Jakarta)
- We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with strong interpersonal skill to assist with the rapid sales growth in the material handling business in Indonesia. The focus of this position will be on the contract/project management and after sales support of HMA Instrumentation products and systems, with opportunities provided (where appropriate) in other products within our group of companies, which makes this position interesting and challenging
- This role will play a critical part in the Identification and development of new and expanded business opportunities in the region to achieve the sales plan through effective client and team partnerships
- The successful candidate for this position will have a STRONG DRIVE to succeed and enthusiasm coupled with the relevant experience and industry contacts in the Indonesian mining market. The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following
- Engineering background or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business-to-Business sales, consultative sales preferred
- 5+ years of experience in client facing role involving customer service and project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and develop relationships with internal and external customers including Sales conversation skills (social styles identification, active listening, questioning)
- Demonstrated success in developing and supporting exceptional long-term client relationships to expand business opportunities
- Ability to prioritize workload and respond quickly to time-sensitive requests
- Knowledge of a reputable sales methodology (preferred)
- Possesses working knowledge in language, math and reasoning skills; proficient ability to use Microsoft Office , the Internet, and CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
- Recognizes problems and responds with a sense of urgency, using good judgment; makes timely, thoughtful, sometimes difficult decisions; seeks and accepts input from others
- Strong business and financial acumen, influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong planning and coordination skills to work with multiple priorities and diverse clients
- Ability and willingness to travel (Domestic and International) and work on customers sites is a MUST
A solid understanding of engineering and technical principles is required along with the ability to effectively communicate details and objectives within project teams, sub-contractors and clients.
